Why Become a HELP Certified Professional?

Being a HELP Certified Professional means being devoted to public education and fiduciary responsibility. THIS IS NOT A SHORT SALE CERTIFICATION! Professionals aligned with our program are given the tools necessary to provide the public with accurate, current, and reliable information they can count on. HELP is a government sponsored non profit public benefit corporation and provides free educational classes for those seeking information on foreclosure prevention, short sales, as well as home buying strategies in today’s market. We encourage anyone working in the real estate industry to become HELP Certified and help us raise the bar for real estate professionals.

The HELP Certification 1 Day Course is comprised of training on the following subjects:

Fiduciary Responsibility
Risk Management
Ethics and Agency
Property Tax
Income Taxes & Cancellation of Debt
HAFA, HAMP, HARP, and Government Assistance Programs
Bankruptcy vs. Insolvency
Short Sales
Loan Modifications
Escrow, Title, and Insurance Issues

Becoming a HELP Certified Professional carries long term benefits as well. HELP’s mission is to promote “Consumer Protection through Education.” We are constantly in front of the public promoting our Professionals. These constant classes promote HELP Certified Professionals as the community Gold Standard- a resource to be trusted. Once Certified, your name and contact information will be posted on our website (organized by specialty and location) for the public to refer to. Through HELP’s strategic alliances in the public and private sectors, our Professionals will receive increased market presence and potential opportunities.

Certification Fees

The charge to attend the certification class is $99 for Real Estate Professionals and also includes your 1 year HELP Certification. Free to the Public.

By signing our code of conduct agreement, you agree to adhere to not only to HELP standards, but also those set forth by your governing professional association. Please note that becoming a Certified Professional means you understand that a violation of any of the code of conduct may be cause for your status with the organization to be reviewed by a disciplinary panel and may result in a possible suspension or termination without refund.
