Why Become a HELP Certified Specialist?
Being a HELP Certified Specialist means being devoted to public education and fiduciary responsibility. Professionals aligned with our program are given the tools necessary to provide the public with accurate, current, and reliable information they can count on. HELP is a government sponsored non profit public benefit corporation and provides free educational classes for those seeking information on foreclosure prevention, short sales, as well as home buying strategies in today’s market. We encourage you to become one of the first listed HELP Certified Specialists that our educational outreach will be promoting.
The HELP Certification 2-Day Course is comprised of training and testing on the following subjects:
Business and Professions Code
Fiduciary Responsibility
Risk Management
City and County First Time Homebuyer Programs
Ethics and Agency
Residential Purchase Agreement
Residential Purchase Contract
Government Loan Programs (ex. FHA, VA, CalPERS, CalSTRS, etc.)
Short Sales
Loan Modifications
Escrow, Title, and Insurance Issues
Becoming a HELP Certified Specialist carries long term benefits as well. HELP’s mission is to promote “Consumer Protection through Education.” We are constantly in front of the public promoting our Specialists. These constant classes promote HELP Certified Specialists as the community Gold Standard- a resource to be trusted. Once Certified, your name and contact information will be posted on our website (organized by specialty and location) for the public to refer to. Through HELP’s strategic alliances in the public and private sectors, our Specialists will receive increased market presence and potential opportunities.
HELP will be providing monthly webinars to its Specialists, covering a broad range of subjects. These webinars will consist of industry and market updates, predictions, trends, as well as more detailed training on legal updates and loan programs. It is important that our Specialists be given accurate and updated information so that the public can be represented properly. You will also receive email notifications, alerting you to important news flashes and issues affecting the Real Estate Industry.
As HELP continues to grow, we will be afforded the opportunity to provide both Certified Specialists and the general public with even more resources. We understand that honest and hard working professionals are often at a competitive disadvantage, which is why H.E.L.P. will continue to work with community leaders and companies who see the benefits of setting higher standards for themselves and others. Consumer Protection through Education, a goal we can and must achieve.
